About Gregory Dowty
Hello, my name is Greg Dowty and I am an attorney in the personal injury division of Ramos Law. I am extremely happy to be a part of the Ramos Law team as they share my passion in helping people recover from difficult situations. I understand that personal injuries are invariably difficult to cope with. I take great pride in helping injured individuals navigate through the claims and legal process so they can focus on their physical recovery process.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Northeastern University, I was fortunate enough to secure a co-op position at a high-stakes litigation firm, Cooley Manion Jones. It was there that I set my sights on becoming an attorney. Later, I went to law school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. While in law school, I clerked for Midwest Innocence Project where I was part of a team that represented innocent individuals who had been wrongfully convicted of crimes.
Directly after law school, I began working for a small insurance company based out of Kansas City. I learned how insurance carriers evaluate and adjust claims. After a certain point, it became clear to me that I needed to switch to the Plaintiff side so I could begin helping injured individuals. Being able to learn how an insurance company operates and thinks was an invaluable experience for my mission in representing my clients in order to obtain fair and just economic recoveries.
When I am not fighting for my clients, I enjoy playing hockey, playing foosball, snowboarding, and hiking with my wife and two dogs
