Heather Hackett

Hello! My name is Heather Hackett, JD, and I am a bad faith attorney at the Ramos Law Firm. I joined Ramos Law in 2025 because I am passionate about helping clients who are having disputes with their insurance companies get the benefits they deserve. I grew up in Great Falls, Montana where I learned the values of hard work and honesty. I graduated from the University of Montana (cum laude) and then went on to Duquesne University Law School in Pittsburgh where I was a member of the law review and graduated cum laude. During law school I worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the white-collar crime division. I have over twenty years of experience in the insurance and litigation fields. Through my years working on both the insurance defense and insurance plaintiff sides I have learned clients need an experienced attorney who can exercise good judgment in evaluating and prosecuting their cases. I have overseen many hundreds of cases over the years and successfully litigated many trials and arbitrations. I have also worked to obtain many large settlements for my clients. I am happy to be a part of the Ramos Law Family because I care deeply about my clients and work to get them the best outcome while doing so with professionalism and integrity.

I am married and have one son. I enjoy gravel biking, fly fishing, camping with my family and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. One of my favorite pastimes is listening to Yacht Rock and playing gin with my husband (even though I am a terrible loser).
