Hi! My name is Cara Maniscalco, and I joined the Ramos Law Firm in 2026 as a Litigation Attorney. I was born and raised in Southwest Florida and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Conservation at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I moved across the country to earn my law degree at the University of Oregon where I graduated Order of the Coif while participating in moot court, journal, pro bono defense projects, and peer tutoring for both torts and constitutional law.
As a first-generation college student, I knew when I became a lawyer that I wanted to help people – real individuals. I began my career as a public defender fighting for indigent clients who were stacked against the enormous weight of the government. I spent years, both in public and private practice, defending real people in criminal cases. I have handled thousands of cases through every stage of litigation. I am extremely proud and grateful to have stood with so many clients during some of the toughest moments of their lives and fiercely advocate for their rights. My courtroom experience and passion for people results in compassionate and relentless advocacy for my clients.
When I made the transition to personal injury, it only made sense to continue fighting for real people – this time just in a different arena. I was glad to join a firm like Ramos Law where the focus is on the individual person, and the attorneys are dedicated to your case and well-being. I am grateful to continue that mission on the litigation team here.
Outside of work, I enjoy all types of art – movies, theater, books, etc. – with my family and animals. I also enjoy practicing yoga, and I teach yoga part-time at a wonderful donation-based studio here in Colorado Springs.
Please do not hesitate to reach out – we are here to help.
