Kristina Contreras

Hello, my name is Kristina Contreras. I am originally from Southern California. I joined Ramos Law in 2024 as a personal injury attorney because the firm’s commitment to advocacy and ethical representation of its clients aligns with my core values as an attorney.

I attended William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota, where I began my career in immigration law with a focus on Asylee and Refugee cases. I have experience in a wide range of immigration law issues and have successfully litigated Deport and Removal cases in Immigration Court, including filing a Motion before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit Court, which will help to set a precedent for future immigration cases. Building on my trial experience with Immigration, I moved to successfully representing brokers and investment advisers in litigation including FINRA arbitrations, CRD/ARD expungements, and regulatory investigations.

 

I have a lifelong affinity for music having studied and performed lyrical opera prior to law school. Today, one of my greatest joys is seeing an opera with my husband.

 

In my personal time, I enjoy meditation, journaling, spending time with my cats, challenging my Italian husband to cook-offs, and hiking the beautiful Colorado trails.
