We would like to share with you an inspirational poem written by one of our clients.

History will remember when the schools closed
And the children stayed indoors
And the medical staff, first responders and truckers walked towards the fire
And they didn’t run.

History will remember when the people sang
On their balconies, in isolation
But so very much together
In courage and song.

History will remember when the people fought
For their old and their weak
Protected the vulnerable
By doing nothing at all.

History will remember when the virus left
And the houses opened
And the people came out
And hugged and kissed
And started again.

Society: What are we supposed to do when we can’t leave our homes?

God: Rest. You are always so busy and overwhelmed, crying out to me weary and exhausted. Can’t you use a break from your fast-paced and over-scheduled lives? Go ahead and rest. Pray. Love your family. Be still and spend time with me.

Society: We’re scared!

God: I’ve got this and I’m with you.

Here’s to another day…another chance to be kind, considerate and compassionate. We are all in this together trying to make sense of all of it and keep our children free from anxiety, protect the weak with compromised health issues, protect the elderly, keep a roof over our heads and food on our tables. Peace, love, prayers, wellness and happiness to all.

From a friend. Always remember to see the glass half full…
