Ryan E. Nichols, JD

Hi, my name is Ryan E. Nichols and I am the Director of Bad Faith Litigation at Ramos Law. I began my career as an insurance defense attorney where I learned first-hand the insurance companies’ methods to beat down legitimate claims. Since then, I have transitioned my practice to representing insureds and claimants in their righteous fights against the abusive tactics of insurance companies.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where I graduated with honors in 2014. While an undergraduate, I worked as an agent/property & casualty insurance producer for a large interstate insurance company. While in law school, I was an editor for the law review and clerked for a prominent medical malpractice defense firm, gaining valuable insights into the insurance defense industry.

I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, and Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. I have been licensed to practice in Colorado since 2014, and since then have also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, as well as the 10^El Circuit Court of Appeals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons, woodworking, cooking, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
