Hello! My name is Marcela, and I am a Legal Assistant on the Workers’ Compensation Team at Ramos Law. I joined Ramos Law in 2026 after hearing from co-workers about the firm’s amazing culture, supportive environment, and stability.
I am originally from Nicaragua, where I began my career in customer service. I later worked as a Scheduling Specialist and then as a Legal Assistant. Through these experiences, I have learned how to use workplace tools effectively, build my medical and legal knowledge, and keep processes aligned with my responsibilities.
My skill set includes professional and polite communication with clients and attorneys, organizing case files, and drafting documents. One of the most important lessons I have learned throughout my career is that commitment to excellence is key to success, both professionally and personally. I believe we are constantly growing, and each new experience gives us an opportunity to become better than we were before.
I am happy to be part of the Ramos Law family because it is a supportive and positive environment that inspires me to bring my best each day and continue improving.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking road trips, hiking, camping, and running. I am the youngest in a family of six.
Some of my passions include painting and crafting ceramic pieces. I also have a strong desire to better understand the meaning of life and how the human brain works, which inspired me to study psychology. I am currently finishing my degree.
