Joanna DeRosia

Hello! My name is Joanna DeRosia, and I am an attorney with the Ramos Law Firm. I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. After law school, I practiced in several areas of law at a small firm in Mississippi before focusing my work on personal injury in 2017. Since then, I have truly enjoyed helping injured individuals navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives. I value the relationships I build with my clients and work hard to ensure their legal journeys are as smooth and positive as possible. I frequently handle cases involving automobile crashes, bike collisions, civil assault, premises liability, and general negligence.

Experiencing an injury because of someone else’s actions can turn your life upside down. It creates frustration and uncertainty, especially when dealing with insurance companies. I take pride in guiding clients through each step, helping them understand their rights, and advocating for the best possible outcome. I have resolved a significant number of cases and have extensive experience supervising and handling pretrial matters, as well as trial experience.

I have a natural ability to share my clients’ stories in a way that conveys their hardships and helps bring about a fair and favorable resolution.

Outside of work, I don’t take myself too seriously. I enjoy attending shows at Red Rocks, going to festivals, spending time outdoors, improving my ski skills, and being with my family. I am also a proud graduate of Mississippi State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree. Hail State!
