Javier Cortez

Javier Cortez is a member of the Medical Records Team at Ramos Law. He joined the firm in 2025 to explore a new career path and expand his professional skill set.

Originally from Nicaragua, Javier began his career as a Graphic Designer, working in the field for more than seven years. He later transitioned into the BPO industry, where he served as a Customer Service Representative before advancing to a Supervisor and Team Leader role over the following three years. Through these experiences, Javier learned that challenges and risks should not be feared. He believes growth comes from viewing change as an opportunity and remaining adaptable in every situation.

Javier’s skill set includes strong attention to detail, emotional empathy, and effective communication. One of the most important lessons he has learned throughout his career is that learning never stops. Whether adapting to new software and design trends, navigating career changes, or growing personally, he believes continuous learning and adaptability are essential.

Javier is proud to be part of the Ramos Law family because the firm fosters a sense of belonging and demonstrates genuine care for the well being of others, values that strongly resonate with him.

Outside of work, Javier enjoys playing video games and watching movies and television series. He has a strong interest in science fiction and medieval themed stories, with favorite franchises including The Legend of Zelda, The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon. He is also a proud cat parent to Nezuko, Dex Starr, and Dabi.

His passions include crafting, particularly working with EVA foam for cosplay projects inspired by comic, manga, and video game characters, as well as writing.
