Ethan Barnes

Howdy! My name is Ethan Barnes. I am part of the Aviation team here at the Ramos Law Firm. I joined Ramos Law in April 2026 because of the firm’s exceptional nationwide reputation in Aviation law, and the firms commitment to excellence. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, but have lived all over the USA, from Anchorage, Alaska, to Washington D.C. I have held positions in the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, where I conducted oversight of federal agencies and led investigations into nationwide scandals and the activity of cabinet level government officials.

I enjoy anything outdoors, from taking a leisurely stroll at sunset, to hiking into the mountains for a weekend away from civilization. During the fall, you’ll catch me cheering on my Dallas Cowboys, and the Ole Miss Rebels (Hotty Toddy!)

Growing up, I was surrounded by aviation, my grandfather was an Air Force pilot, and my father was an aircraft maintenance technician, working on bush plans in Alaska. This aviation centered childhood led to a passion for anything that flies. Joining the Ramos Law Firm has allowed me to combine my passion for aviation with my passion for using the law to help people, truly a dream come true.
