Carla Morales

Law Clerk - Denver

Carla Morales

Hola! My name is Carla Morales. I am a Law Clerk at the Ramos Law Firm. I joined Ramos Law because I am committed to building my career in personal injury litigation in the United States and to serving clients who need strong, compassionate advocacy during difficult times.

I was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, where I became a licensed attorney at the age of 23. I began my legal career practicing civil and commercial transactional law before transitioning into a litigation legal assistant role in personal injury. It was through that experience that I discovered my passion for litigation and client-centered advocacy.

With the goal of becoming an attorney in the United States, I made the decision to move to Colorado to pursue an LL.M. in American Legal Practice at the Sturm College of Law. I will soon be graduating and intend to sit for the Colorado Bar so I can continue my path toward becoming a personal injury attorney.

Through practicing in one legal system and studying another, I have learned adaptability, precision, and the importance of understanding the human story behind every case. My skill set includes legal research, drafting motions and responses, case organization, and assisting with deposition preparation, including translating and supporting Spanish-speaking clients. One of the most important lessons I have learned throughout my career is that the law must be accessible to be effective. Clear communication builds trust, and no one should feel disadvantaged because of a language barrier.

A central purpose in my career is helping make the legal system more accessible for those in need, especially members of the Spanish-speaking community who may feel overwhelmed or unheard. Being able to bridge that gap is something I take great pride in.

I am happy to be part of the Ramos Law Family because of the firm’s dedication to community service and client advocacy.

Outside of work, I am the proud mom of three dogs: a Saint Bernard, a German Shepherd mix, and a Bearded Collie, who keep life interesting. When I’m not running after them, I enjoy snowboarding, exploring the city as I continue getting to know Colorado, watching horror movies, and finding creative outlets like painting canvases or doing my own nail art.

Ramos Law is always here to help. If there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to reach out.
