Christopher W. Crabtree, JD, is the Director of the Workers’ Compensation Division at Ramos Law, LLC. working on cases throughout Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and surrounding areas.
Hello, my name is Christopher Crabtree. I have dedicated my legal practice and have a great passion for helping injured workers, the disabled, and their families navigate the often confusing and complicated legal systems, and medical issues that arise in injury and disability-related claims. I strive to maximize the benefits owed to an injured worker or disabled individual in the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security legal systems. I have handled Workers’ Compensation claims and various other insurance-related claims since 1988. I have represented not only the injured and disabled, but also insurance carriers and employers in my legal practice. As a result, I have a unique perspective and vast experience in understanding how insurance carriers handle claims, and how to beat them at their own game.
I am the oldest son of my wonderful parents both of whom were teachers. My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and sound values including respect for, and support of those in need, and fighting for equal rights of all individuals. Helping and representing those individuals and their families who have been injured or disabled is a core value of The Ramos Injury Firm. I am proud to be a part of the fantastic legal team fighting for the rights and benefits of others at Ramos Law.
I received my B.A. degrees in History and Social Sciences, and an Asian Studies Minor, from Colorado State University in 1987. I was an honor student in the Semester at Sea program through the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Denver in December of 1994. Prior to commencing my practice of law, I worked for an insurance company in various capacities which included the litigation claims manager position and technical claims specialist handling all lines of insurance claims.
In my legal practice, I have represented clients in numerous matters in various areas of law including workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment, general liability, construction defect, and insurance bad faith law. I now concentrate my legal practice representing injured workers and the disabled in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, and related matters. I have also been a regular speaker at various seminars relating to Workers’ Compensation, Employment, and Insurance Bad Faith fields of law.
I am licensed to practice law in Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section, Disability Section, and am active in the Professionals in Workers’ Compensation organization. I am honored to have been a two-time nominee and to be named the 2011 Outstanding Respondent Attorney by the Professionals in Workers’ Compensation organization.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Ann, my children and family, hiking, camping, reading, martial arts, and traveling our world.
I look forward to working with you in resolving your medical and legal issues.
After an accident in November 2013 I visited an injury firm that left me feeling gross and more of a notch in their belt then a real person. Gladly I didn’t go with them but instead sign with the Ramos Injury FirmOlivia F.Littleton, CO
