About Adam Detsky

Adam is an experienced trial attorney admitted to practice law in Colorado and New York. He has practiced in state and federal courts across the country. His civil litigation practice includes handling of a wide range of personal injury claims including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, FELA, bad faith claims, and coverage disputes. He has handled all aspects of personal injury litigation from inception of the claim through appeal representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Before joining Ramos Law, Adam spent over four years representing injured victims. Prior to that, Adam defended a national railroad against toxic torts claims stemming from long-term workplace exposure to various carcinogens.

In addition to his legal practice, Adam dedicates significant energy towards volunteer activities. Adam serves as a member of the board of directors for the American Mock Trial Association (“AMTA”) – an academic non-profit that organizes undergraduate mock trial for over 350 colleges and universities each year. Adam also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Mockingbird Foundation – a non-profit that writes competitive grants to youth music education services programs across the country. Adam also has a passion for teaching, having spent a decade as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at a university in New York.

Adam received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. After obtaining his law degree, Adam practiced at an Am Law 200 firm for over a decade in New York before moving to be closer with his family here in Colorado. In his spare time, Adam enjoys live music and spending time with his wife and son.
