Every year law enforcement officers and people from our local communities join family members of officers who were killed in the line of duty during the past year. The ceremony highlights the careers of these fallen heroes and honors the family members left behind in the wake of their tragic loss.
This year, several members of the Ramos Law team assisted in setting up and serving lunch to all those in attendance following the ceremony. Ian Corella, Director of Marketing for Ramos law says about the event, “My dad was in law enforcement for many years, and I have such an appreciation for what these people do to keep us safe. When one of them dies in the line of duty, the pain lasts a lifetime for those left behind. Anything I can do to support and serve these brave family members is my absolute pleasure.” Shawna Hoven was moved after the time she spent at the event…”Being here today really touched my heart. I could feel the support of this tightly-knit community, especially during an awful and tragic time. The way everyone pitched in to create such a beautiful day for the survivors was truly inspiring.”
Dr. Joe Ramos says it best when he states, “This is exactly the kind of group that we love supporting in any way we can. Taking care of those who take care of all of us is one small way we can show our gratitude for their service. Being able to do even the smallest thing to help the families and coworkers of those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice is a huge honor for us all.”
